Over 70 foods stalls serving the flavours of France
In the alleys, streets and stores of The Rocks you’ll discover a banquet of French cuisine that will delight any foodie. There’s a range of traditional favourites, such as the cheesy La Raclette or La Fondue, as well as delicate and delicious crepes, croissants and cakes. Over 30 recipes have been created exclusively for this year’s Bastille Festival and some French classics have taken a very tasty twist. Sample the camembert arancini, churros with French jam or French paella as just some of these fantastic culinary fusions!

The Cheese Dome
Five words for you – All you can eat cheese. That’s right, this year the Bastille Festival is hosting a 90 minute French fondue extravaganza. Held in an immersive 360 dome, you’ll be transported to the French Alps where you can get your hands on all the melted cheese your heart desires.

The best French beverages
Quench your desire for authentic French beverages with wine tasting ‘tours’ and bars. Sip on rosé, champagne, mulled wine or have a seat at the belly-warming electro beer garden. For craft beer lovers, sample one of the five beers crafted by boutique breweries especially for the festival.

Le Cinema
Returning this year is the much-loved Le Cinema, an outdoor movie experience giving you the chance to kick back in the evenings and indulge in some French cinema by the Harbour. There’s truly nothing lovelier than a blanket, mulled wine and heart-warming French comedies or thrilling dramas under the stars on the MCA lawn.

Christmas in July markets
A dozen traditional wooden chalets bring the smells, sights and tastes of a European winter season to Sydney. Vendors will be selling food to warm your cold heart, mulled wine, and Christmas presents, all while the smell of fresh Christmas trees wafts through the air, soundtracked by your favourite carols.

Live performances: From Paris With Love
Around The Rocks precinct you’ll also find folk dancing performances, DJs and circus acts that add spark to immersive experience that is Bastille Festival. The Le Cabaret Show is an enrapturing throwback to classic Parisian cabaret, and a perfect night out for the cultural connoisseurs amongst us. It brings audiences an eclectic performance of song, dance, magic and illusions over a night that’s sure to be full of surprises.
